Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our service.

Mentoring Men & 25twoZERO Prize Lottery- Terms & Conditions.

This prize lottery is run by Mentoring Men (“Mentoring Men”) of  Se 401, 10-12 Clarke St, Crows Nest NSW 2065 (ABN 43628604973) and 25twoZERO. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry.

  • Register for the 25twoZERO Step up & Stamp out suicide campaign and fundraise a minimum of $20.
  • All funds raised will be donated to Mentoring Men.

WHO CAN ENTER

  • Entry is open to all permanent residents of Australia, aged 18 years or older.
  • Employees, board members or officers of Mentoring Men, any companies, or agencies. associated with this raffle, and their immediate families, are ineligible to purchase raffle tickets. Immediate families means a spouse or former spouse, de facto partner or former de facto partner, child, stepchild, parent, stepparent, grandparent, grandchild, sibling, or stepsibling of an employee of Mentoring Men.

HOW TO ENTER

  • Registrations will commence on 24/08/21 and conclude on 10/09/21 at 11:59pm (AEST) (“Promotion Period“).
  • To enter, entrants must, during the Promotion Period:
    1. Register for the 25twoZERO Step up & Stamp out suicide campaign and fundraise a minimum of via Step up & Stamp out — 25TwoZero; and
    2. provide their contact details (first name, last name, full address, valid email address and mobile phone number) in the section provided.
  • No late entries will be accepted. Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be ineligible.
  • Entrants can only register to fundraise once during the Promotion Period.
  • Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.

PRIZE

  • The prize is a Samsung Galaxy Watch4.
  • The prize will be sent to the winner at the expense of Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO within 14 days after the winner has been declared. Risk of loss or damage to the item passes to the winner upon delivery.
  • The winner is responsible for deciding to claim their prize, including providing all necessary information for delivery.
  • Prize cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.
  • If a prize is not available for any reason, Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO reserves the right to substitute the prize with another item of equal or greater value if the winner agrees in writing and subject to any approvals from regulatory authorities.

SELECTION OF WINNER

  • The winner will be chosen at random by electronic draw, which will take place on 13/09/21 at 10:00AM (AEST), at Mentoring Men. Entrants need not be present to win.
  • The first valid entry drawn will win the prize as described above.
  • The winner will be notified by phone and in writing (i.e. email) within 2 days of the winner being drawn, and the winner’s name will be published on the 25twoZERO website from 14/09/21. The winner’s name will also be displayed on the Mentoring Men website.
  • Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO reserves the right to request the winner to submit their ticket receipt as proof of identity and purchase. Proof of identification and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO.
  • Mentoring Men will not enter into any correspondence regarding the competition result.

SECOND CHANCE DRAW

  • If the winner does not respond within 2 weeks of being notified that they have won the prize lottery, that winner is not readily identified and reasonable efforts have been made by Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO to identify the winner were unsuccessful, they will automatically forfeit their prize and Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO reserves the right to select another winner through a second chance draw.
  • If necessary, a second chance draw will be held on 27/09/21 at the same time and place as the first draw. The first valid entry drawn will win any unclaimed prize. 
  • The winner will be notified by phone or email within 2 days of the winner being drawn, and the winner’s details will be published on the 25twoZERO and Mentoring Men websites from 28/09/21.
  • Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO reserves the right to request the winner to submit their ticket receipt as proof of identity and purchase. Proof of identification and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO.
  • Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO will not enter any correspondence regarding the competition result.

STANDARD TERMS

  • Nothing in these terms and conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports limit, exclude or modify Mentoring Men’s and 25twoZERO’s liability in relation to the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law (Non-Excludable Guarantees). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury, or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the prize lottery including:
    1. any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under Mentoring Men’s and 25twoZERO’s control);
    2. any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
  • any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO;
  1. any variation in prize value to that stated in these terms and conditions;
  2. any tax liability incurred by the winner or entrant; or
  3. use of the prize.
  • To the extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law), if for any reason the prize lottery is not capable of running as planned, including (but not limited to) tampering or any other causes beyond the control of Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of the prize lottery, Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be appropriate, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the prize lottery, subject to regulatory approval.
  • In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, pandemics, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO may in its absolute discretion cancel or postpone the promotion and recommence it at another time on the same conditions subject to regulatory approval.
  • By entering the prize lottery, you consent to Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO using your personal information to send you information about Mentoring Men’s and 25 twoZERO’s news, events, products, services, and general information about Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO, including by email, post, phone calls.

  • By entering into the prize lottery, the winner agrees to participate in promotional activity relating to the prize lottery and Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO.
  • Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO is not liable for any tax implications arising from prize winnings, including fringe benefits tax. Independent financial advice should be sought prior to accepting the prize.
  • The laws of Victoria apply to this competition. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the laws of Victoria.

Terms and Conditions of Entry

Information on how to claim and the Sponsorship Donation limits (as defined below) form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

This competition is run by Mentoring Men (“Mentoring Men”) of  Se401, 10-12 Clarke St, Crows Nest NSW 2065 (ABN 43628604973) and 25twoZERO. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry

Entry is only open to permanent residents of Australian, who are registered as part of the Step up & Stamp out suicide campaign through 25twoZERO.

The Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO eligible fundraising programs (each a “Program”) are as follows; Step up and Stamp up suicide campaign.

WHO CAN ENTER

  • Entry is open to all permanent residents of Australia, aged 18 years or older.
  • Employees, board members or officers of Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO, any companies, or agencies. associated with this raise and claim, and their immediate families, are ineligible to claim the prizes. Immediate families means a spouse or former spouse, de facto partner or former de facto partner, child, stepchild, parent, stepparent, grandparent, grandchild, sibling, or stepsibling of an employee of Mentoring Men or 25twoZERO.
  • Claimants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to claim and further, the parent/guardian of the claimant must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to the minor entering this promotion.

HOW TO ENTER

  • The Promotion will commence on 24/08/21 and conclude on 10/09/21 at 11:59pm (AEST) (“Promotion Period“).
  • To enter, entrants must, during the Promotion Period:
    1. Register for the 25twoZERO Step up & Stamp out suicide campaign and fundraise via Step up & Stamp out — 25TwoZero; and
    2. Raise between $75 to $200 to claim the prize.
    3. Provide their contact details (first name, last name, full address, valid email address and mobile phone number) in the section provided.
  • No late entries will be accepted. Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be ineligible.
  • Entrants can only register to fundraise once during the Promotion Period.
  • Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by Mentoring Men to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.

HOW TO CLAIM

To claim individuals are required to create a fundraising profile page for a Program during the applicable Promotional Period  by visiting Step up & Stamp out — 25TwoZero. Throughout the duration of the Promotional Period as determined by Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO, individuals can collect and redeem the prizes based on determined fundraising amounts (set below). An individual can redeem prizes by following the prompts on their fundraising profile page.

Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and claimants (including a claimant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO’s discretion. Failure by the Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.

Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.

If there is a dispute as to the identity of a claimant, Mentoring men and 25twoZERO reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the claimant.

If a claimant claims prizes (in accordance with the above) they will receive notification within 5 working days upon submitting their claim. The notification message will contain confirmation and details of their prize:

Prizes are awarded as a gift towards the claimant’s total fundraising amount within the relevant Program, and will not be awarded or substituted as cash. The prize will be allocated to the claimant’s profile page dashboard within 5 working days. Prizes must be redeemed during the applicable Promotional Period as set above.

Mentoring men and 25twoZERO’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

If for any reason a claimant does not take / redeem the prize at the time stipulated by Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO, then the Sponsorship Donation Credit will be forfeited.

Prizes cannot be transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.

Claimants consent to Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO using their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO.

If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control, including but not limited to pandemic, technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any claimant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.

Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the claimant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows a claimant to automatically claim repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that claimant invalid.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act (Cth) or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion or their participation in the Program.

Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees,  Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or Sponsorship Donation Credit claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO; (d) any variation in Sponsorship Donation Credit value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a claimant; or (f) use of a Sponsorship Donation Credit.

Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO collects personal information (“PI“) in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at Mentoring Men website Privacy Policy — Mentoring Men  and 25twoZERO website Privacy Policy — 25TwoZero.  The Privacy Policy also contains information about how claimants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how claimants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. All entries become the property of Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO.  Mentoring Men and 25twoZERO will not disclose claimant’s PI to any entity outside of Australia.

  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend Your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if You breach these Terms and Conditions.

Upon termination, Your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

Limitation of liability

Notwithstanding any damages that You might incur, the entire liability of the Company and any of its suppliers under any provision of this Terms and Your exclusive remedy for all of the foregoing shall be limited to the amount actually paid by You through the Service or 100 USD if You haven’t purchased anything through the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Company or its suppliers be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever (including, but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, loss of data or other information, for business interruption, for personal injury, loss of privacy arising out of or in any way related to the use of or inability to use the Service, third-party software and/or third-party hardware used with the Service, or otherwise in connection with any provision of this Terms), even if the Company or any supplier has been advised of the possibility of such damages and even if the remedy fails of its essential purpose.

Some states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages, which means that some of the above limitations may not apply. In these states, each party’s liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

“As is” and “as available” disclaimer

The Service is provided to You “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” and with all faults and defects without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, the Company, on its own behalf and on behalf of its Affiliates and its and their respective licensors and service providers, expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise, with respect to the Service, including all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, and warranties that may arise out of course of dealing, course of performance, usage or trade practice. Governing Law

The laws of the Country, excluding its conflicts of law rules, shall govern this Terms and Your use of the Service. Your use of the Application may also be subject to other local, state, national, or international laws.

Disputes Resolution

If You have any concerns or disputes about the Service, You agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the Company.

Severability and waiver

Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Waiver
Except as provided herein, the failure to exercise a right or to require performance of an obligation under this Terms shall not affect a party’s ability to exercise such right or require such performance at any time thereafter nor shall be the waiver of a breach constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach.

Translation interpretation

These Terms and Conditions may have been translated if We have made them available to You on our Service.

You agree that the original English text shall prevail in the case of a dispute.

Changes to these terms and conditions

We reserve the right, at Our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is a material We will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at Our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use Our Service after those revisions become effective, You agree to be bound by the revised terms. If You do not agree to the new terms, in whole or in part, please stop using the website and the Service.
