About

To shatter the stigma around mental health in males, I want to encourage males to get more candid and vulnerable in the way they talk to one another around their mental health. To actually talk about their problems before they become real problems.”

For males to have more authentic and genuine conversations. To learn that opening up to someone is so important. However simply listening and holding space when someone opens up to you is equally as importantly.

I was touched by suicide in late 2019. Every KM I run this year I’ll be thinking of him and the other 2500 males who lost their battle in 2020.

This movement is about males removing the mask. Showing up. Being themselves and being bloody proud of who they are. Flaws and all. We are human. We all mess up. We all make mistakes. We need to stop being so hard on ourselves. We all need to stop wearing the mask.

Once we take the mask off we can show up, we can be vulnerable and we can really CONNECT with one another. Real connections.

This is why I’m running. So no man ever walks alone. So no man turns to suicide as a last resort. So no man presses ‘end game’ on the most precious thing we have… LIFE.

Please. Join me. Join this movement… Let’s prevent suicide together. ❤️
